Angel's Home Program

Because of their congenital diseases and disabilities, many children were abandoned by their parents. These orphans are generally sent to local charity houses. When the medical conditions of the cities where these charity houses are located are limited, some of the children with severe disease will be removed to cities with better medical conditions such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Because the charity houses in different places are short of personnel and fund, it is always impossible to take these children to other places for medical treatment so that children with severe diseases often die from the failure to get proper and timely treatment. "Angel Moms" are the people who will bring the children at charity houses in various places who need medical treatment to Beijing, help them contact hospitals and raise funds for their treatment, and take care of these children before and after their operations until they fully recover.

In order to help children with congenital severe diseases in the region of Beijing to receive operation or treatment with medicine, Angel Mom volunteers in Beijing organized and launched the Beijing "Angel's Home" program providing aid to children with severe diseases. In 2011, the program became one of the recommended programs in the Dream Choir, a large public interest and charity television program produced by China Central Television. As a sole provider of the public interest and charity funds, the China Merchants Securities provided RMB 100,000 yuan to the program to provide necessary medical treatment and medicine for the children under the "Angel's Home" program.

"Angel's Home" program is a volunteer group in Beijing. Members of this group and most donators to it are mothers with a kind heart, good education background and specialized knowledge and skill in various areas. The group has over one hundred core volunteers both in China and overseas, mainly in USA, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Xi'an and Zhengzhou. The operation of this group is to publicize the program and raise money through the Internet and to conduct extensive cooperation with various medical institutions, media, foundations and volunteers both domestically and abroad. In this way, the program can raise funds for these children's medical treatment, arrange for operations, and provide aid for their recovery, help the abandoned babies and orphans in charity facilities improve their living and development conditions, and help children in difficulty to improve their livelihood in the future.
