At the 13rd sponsoring institutions co-chaired meeting on March 20, 2012, China Merchants Securities won the "Best Sponsoring Institution" award of 2011 from Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the highest honor of the sector, the second in two consecutive years. Vice president, Mr. Sun Yizheng attended the meeting and received the award on behalf of the company.

In spite of many adverse changes in the environment of the capital market in 2011, China Merchants Securities has expanded project sources and enhanced project quality under the strategy of "maintaining the advantages in small and medium-sized clients and steadily increasing the market share in large clients" and achieved satisfactory business results: ranked among the top 3 in terms of revenue from underwriting and among the top 5 by the 31.67 clients for whom it acted as the lead underwriter. Moreover, it reached the 8th place in terms of underwriting value, up from the 11th place in 2010.
