On (November) 28^th, China Merchants Securities launched its comprehensive private equity fund custody service and became the first securities company that operated this business in China’s securities industry. This signifies that China’s securities industry took its first step in innovating custody service.

The comprehensive private fund custody service refers to a comprehensive financial service in which China Merchants Securities provides to its private equity fund clients in accordance with the provisions in the contract with them such services as assets custody, netting, investment liquidation, investment monitoring, custody report, all-round information service, risk evaluation and management, and back-office outsourcing.
