On February 2, 2013, the 2012 Award Conferring Meeting of the Shenzhen Financial Innovation Awards and the 2013 Shenzhen Financial System New Year Tea Party were held in the multifunction hall of the citizen center. At the meeting, altogether 39 awards were conferred. The Auditing Informatization Platform Project, applied by the China Merchants Securities (CMS), won the award of excellence. Deng Xiaoli, CMS vice president, received the award credential on behalf of the company.

The project represents the management innovation carried out by the Auditing and Supervision Department of the CMS on the basis of its practical experience over the years. It mainly attempts to adapt to the current situation that the company's business scale and the number of operation outlets and customers increase rapidly, that various financial innovations emerge constantly, and that the complexity and workload of auditing also increase constantly. In the process of auditing informatization, the mode, process, content, and means of auditing are innovated. High integration of auditing business, process, data, and control is realized. Without new auditing resources are added, the effect and efficiency of auditing are improved, and the risk and cost of auditing are lowered.

The project establishes the first work platform in the securities industry that integrates auditing data analysis and auditing project management and fully realizes the informatization of auditing work. It is of important referential meaning to the securities traders in the industry about how to keep the last defense line in internal control through systematization and improve the standard of internal control of the company.
