On May 22, CMS signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with China Merchants Bank (CMB). Vice President Xiong Jiantao signed the agreement on behalf of the company. This move lays a solid foundation for both parties to extend the leading edge in cooperation between banks and securities companies and to explore innovative cooperation between banks and securities companies in the new era.

As the most important strategic partner mutually, CMS and CMB have carried out good cooperation in multiple fields with a view to "complementing each other's advantages, sharing resources, balancing interests and achieving win-win cooperation". By means of annual strategic cooperation meetings, the two parties review and communicate cooperation results and requirements to make their cooperation mechanism more mature, extend their cooperation fields and deepen their partnership. Up to now, the two parties have held seven annual strategic cooperation meetings in total. In 2014, the two parties officially signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement.
